New CCM Motorcycles

Good news - we have struck a deal with CCM for a whole fleet of new bikes for our off-road schools and tours in the UK and Spain! We will be launching the new bikes in the next few weeks and adding lots more school dates which will be in association with CCM. Expect to see us at various shows throughout the UK in the coming year on the official CCM stand - hopefully see some of you at the NEC.

Madness in the Apache Rally Buggy

Well, I have had a bit of practice and am now quite happy to instruct in the Apache Rally Buggy! The video is an overview of how I got on, both instructing and driving last Saturday.

A new track is born

Well, after our first attempt at a track for the dirt karts we have decided that it was way too bumpy so we have made a new track up on our tarmac area and covered it with pea shingle. The new track is great fun because it's all about getting sideways around the corners! Pics and video will follow soon after we have put the safety features in and made sure the tyre walls are all correct. We had a play yesterday and it was awesome fun.

MCN visit our Spanish Tour

We have just had a bit of a manic weekend at the off road activity centre with around 70 people in total driving the Rage Drift Buggies, as well as groups doing Dirt Karts and a closed gate event for 30 people! We had some issues, which is to be expected, but the major issue was the Rage circuit. With so much useage combined with over watering on previous weekends, the circuit became heavily rutted and bumpy so action was needed urgently. Phil came in with his digger and we made a drag device to attach to the quad to smooth out the lumps and bumps. It looks like it has worked really well, but only testing will see how it bears up. A bit of rain is helping to bed it in.

On the biking side of things we have just got 3 new engines for our Honda CRF230's - from CCM! I tested one last night and it felt pretty sweet for a trail bike. We have loads to do this week on the mechanical side of things - Rage Buggy with colapsed wheel bearings and dodgy CV, dirt kart with melted belt and a quad with a rather loud exhuast. Add to that a Vitara with watyer pump problems and you can see that we have our hands pretty full!
